Jeannie and some paint

Here is my Jeannie sitting her her bottle. Hm...so this was supposed to be for art jumble but I missed the topic deadline...partly due to the fact that I tried to paint it and it didn't turn out like I wanted so I turned to something that didn't fail me-Flash!

I also got some Gouache a couple days ago to try out for the first time. It is a lot of fun but really challenging. Above is my first attempt at an Asian badass inspired by recent drawing sessions and such. Better luck next time with this lovely expensive paint. Happy Monday! :)

Liana! I really dig your Jeannie - I've actually been on a Barbara Eden kick for a bit and did some studies as well. It'd be cool to see what you can do with just a bust - she has some nice easily accented shapes in her face.

on the gouache piece - awesome. it feels like it's straight out of the 1940s. you can't beat that natural brushed feel. Makes me want to break out the gouache again.
