Silhouette from WATCHMEN

I was fortunate enough to see Watchmen with some friends at Pixar over the weekend. It was my first time really getting to know the story and although it was a bit dark for me I am very interested in reading the comic now. I really wish I saw more of this attractive character,Silhouette (who was actually a member of the Minutemen.)
I've also posted this to Illustration Friday as the topic is 'Intricate' and I feel that Silhouette's costume is pretty detailed with many intricate buttons.

Brilliant - colours true to watchmen cover. Not seen the film yet, had the comic book for a couple of years before I actual read it - all in one go when I was ill and off work, highly recommended - the reading bit, not the being ill bit.

Despite her brief time on screen, Silhouette was probably my favorite character, too! Second place, Veidt's liger...

Hi Liana. I was just doing a search for Silhouette to produce an illustration of her myself and found this wonderful version. I love your work. Best wishes, Aly.

Oh, LOVELY. I have to admit, Silhouette has always intrigued me a little ever since I read how she ended up, and the movie version is indeed gorgeous; I too pined for the loss of a character that I knew we weren't going to see much of, if any, for the entire rest of the film.

This piece is a great representation of her though! <3 Very sexy and coquettish and sleak and vibrant - very appropriate for the character! I love your linework and use of color in this one, and especially her pose and expression, which seem very "Silhouette-ish" to me. :)
